Slaughter to Prevail

Deathcore quintet Slaughter to Prevail are a band from Russia but are currently residing in Orlando, Florida. Formed in 2014, they’ve become a name to be reckoned with in the deathcore genre. The amount of destruction you’ll incur with songs such as Demolisher, Viking and Kid of Darkness is unparalleled and best experienced in a live setting. Their self-titled album Slaughter to Prevail was released in 2016 and was met with a flurry of worldwide tours. Now with the release of their album Grizzly on July 18th, 2025, the album landed at #1 on the Hard Music Chart and #3 on Current Rock Albums and Emerging Artists charts. The band currently has 1.79 million monthly listeners on Spotify and a global following that is expanding. They hold the Guinness World Record for achieving the most massive Wall of Death at Hellfest. You can always spot their lead vocalist, Alex Terrible, due to the intricate and dramatic scarification tattoos he has on his face. Adding a bear-wrestling music video to their stage show has made the experience of attending a Slaughter to Prevail show unforgettable.

Whitechapel

Whitechapel is a deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee, that was formed in 2006. They bring a rather heavy complex mix of deathcore, progressive metal and groove metal that will definitely engulf your body. Recommended tracks: The Saw Is The Law, Brimstone, Black Bear and Mark of the Blade. Their latest album Hymns in Dissonance was released on March 7th, 2025 and is, in our opinion, an improvement compared to The Valley. Their self-titled album managed to peak at #143 on the Billboard 200, which makes them one of the most successful deathcore bands in the business. They get their name from the Whitechapel district in East London, known for being the place where Jack the Ripper murdered his victims, and this is featured prominently on their debut album The Somatic Defilement since 2007. The band members have kept their lineup almost intact since then.

Attila

Heavy metal band Attila, from Atlanta, play a very high energy show of music they call “party metal”. The band was formed in 2005 and has released nine full length albums in metalcore, nu metal and rap metal styles. The band play a lot of heavy anthem songs like “About That Life”, “Middle Fingers Up” and “Backtalk” which are heavy with loud guitar riffs and incorporate hip hop. Their latest album Chaos was released in 2016 and a tenth album is due in 2026. One of the singles from the album “About That Life” peaked at #22 on the Billboard 200 chart. Frontman Chris “Fronz” Fronzak is a very high energy performer and has made every Attila show I’ve been to very memorable. The band have described themselves as the “pioneers of party metal”, and have stated that they don’t think that heavy music needs to be taken too seriously, and that “real heavy music” is music that is relatable.
